Radiography Technician (NDT) – ASNT Level‑2 / BARC Level‑1

About the role

The company is seeking a qualified Radiography Technician to support its Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing radiographic inspections, interpreting results, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Follow approved NDT test methods, techniques, procedures, and work instructions as per project requirements and company policy.
• Carry out radiography inspections according to client specifications, codes, standards and SSI procedures.
• Interpret industrial codes, standards and specifications and apply them to inspection activities.
• Document and report inspection results using the company’s reporting system.
• Interpret radiographic films after processing and communicate findings to operations.
• Perform magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT) and hardness testing when required, after appropriate training.
• Maintain clean work areas, ensure good housekeeping and adhere to safety and FANR rules on site.

Required profile

• Minimum three years post‑qualification experience as a qualified ASNT Level‑II NDT technician or BARC Level‑1.
• ASNT Level‑II radiography certification (mandatory) or BARC Level‑1 certification.
• Minimum Higher Secondary School education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven experience operating radiography equipment.

Required skills

• Documentation and reporting of NDT results.
• Knowledge of industrial codes and standards relevant to radiographic testing.
