About the role
As a Rail Alignment Engineer, you will provide rail track alignment designs and perform design reviews for freight & passenger railways including rail facilities in all design stages.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver rail track designs in multi-disciplinary environment.
- Design horizontal and vertical alignments as well as developing cross sections and estimating quantities for plain line and depots.
- Perform reviews for designs produced by the Contractors.
- Adhere to project deadlines and achieve targeted results whilst working individually with minimal supervision.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil / Transportation Engineering.
- Experience in rail alignment designs with strong knowledge of Bentley Rail Track, Microstation and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of international standards.
- Experience in construction and/or construction supervision on international projects.
- Interface knowledge of track with other disciplines.
- Previous experience on metro alignment design is an added advantage.
