Reception Manager – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Reception Manager at Wavehouse will deliver five‑star customer service, greeting guests with a smile and creating memorable dining experiences. You will build lasting relationships with hotel guests, local residents and regular patrons while acting as a sales ambassador for the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver five‑star customer service to guests at Wavehouse, greeting them with a smile and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel guests, local residents and regular patrons.
• Act as a sales ambassador by encouraging repeat visits, capturing new business and communicating special requests to the restaurant management team.
• Manage the guest database and collaborate with PR and marketing to promote upcoming events, initiatives and promotions.
• Ensure immaculate presentation and professional communication at all times.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar reception or guest‑relations role within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Passion for food & beverage and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Fluent English (additional languages a plus).
