Reception Supervisor - UAE National

About the role

The Reception Supervisor at Al-Futtaim Automotive (FAMCO) in Dubai optimizes workshop labor and resources to meet operational efficiency targets. The role ensures that all repair and service activities follow quality and safety guidelines, supervises service advisors and aims for high customer satisfaction and strong financial performance. It works closely with the parts department on parts availability and warranty processes.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: ensure Service Advisors and aftersales executives deliver a customer-centric environment and uphold Customer Service Values.
• Monitor material handling equipment (MHE) up-down time and follow up on customer post-service feedback.
• Parts and warranty: review pre-order forms so parts match the issue, liaise with the Parts department on availability, monitor warranty jobs, check job card accuracy and facilitate warranty claims.
• Financial performance: increase Service and Parts gross margin, Service Contract Ratio, Parts Sales and Accessories Sales, using BIW reports and monthly KPI dashboards.
• Operational efficiency: follow departmental procedures and organize resources for peak periods and high volumes of service requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Automotive or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Reception Supervisor/Manager in the automotive sector.
• Experience managing a team of 10-15 staff in an aftersales environment, preferably in the MHE business.
• Valid UAE driver's license.
