Receptionist / Front Desk Agent (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The Receptionist/Front Desk Agent provides first‑point contact for guests at the EDITION Hotel in Dubai, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations and guest inquiries while delivering a high‑standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and process guest check‑ins/check‑outs, reservations, changes and cancellations.
• Secure payments, verify billing, activate and file room keys.
• Respond to guest requests, relay messages and maintain contingency lists for emergencies.
• Provide information on property amenities, services, local attractions and assist guests with disabilities.
• Run daily reports, complete cashier and closing reports, and manage wake‑up call requests.
• Count and secure the cash drawer at shift start and end, process all payment types and notify security of any theft reports.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and report safety incidents.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with a clear, professional telephone etiquette.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Team‑player who develops positive working relationships and supports common goals.
• Commitment to quality‑assurance standards and guest‑service excellence.
