Recreation Attendant – Luxury Beach Resort

About the role

The Recreation Attendant will deliver warm, personalized service to guests using the pool and beach facilities at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. You will ensure a clean, inviting environment and create memorable experiences in a fast‑paced, upscale setting.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with guests, issue towels, chaise‑lounge covers and assist with set‑up of loungers and cabanas.
• Collect and remove used towels and debris from pool decks throughout the day.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness, set‑up, and ambiance to provide a positive first impression.
• Promote and up‑sell wellness and recreation services to maximise revenue.
• Perform opening and closing duties, follow fire and life‑safety procedures, and uphold high personal appearance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience as a recreation attendant or similar hospitality role.
• Exceptional customer‑service skills with a friendly, proactive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Willingness to carry out assignments delegated by the department manager.
