Recreation Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Recreation Manager to oversee the pool and beach areas at our resort on Dibba Road, Fujairah. Reporting to the Director of Recreation, you will ensure the facilities are well‑maintained, safe and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule recreation staff, covering daily operations and acting as backup when needed.
• Maintain pool and beach cleanliness, oversee cabana unit operations and ensure all equipment is functional.
• Plan and coordinate events, programs and group activities such as sand painting, bonfires and team‑building sessions.
• Manage children’s programmes, including activity planning and equipment procurement.
• Work with external vendors for water‑sports, scuba and other recreational services.
• Order and control supplies, tools, uniforms and other resources required for the department.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, coaching staff and handling guest feedback.
• Participate in HR duties: performance appraisals, training coordination and staff development.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of recreation/health‑club experience, or a 2‑year degree in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to guest needs promptly.
