Regional Asset Planner - Sub Sahara Africa

About the role
Join a leading oilfield services company as a Regional Asset Planner responsible for Sub‑Sahara Africa. You will develop and execute asset planning strategies that align fleet availability, sourcing, utilization, and redeployment with operational and commercial priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional asset planning strategies to support customer operations, startup projects, and growth initiatives.
- Coordinate asset movements such as mobilizations, demobilizations, inter‑country transfers, and exit plans.
- Identify and mitigate asset supply risks by evaluating gaps, repair needs, investment requirements, and redeployment opportunities.
- Drive improvements in utilization and capital efficiency, reducing idle, excess, and under‑utilized assets.
- Maintain asset governance, data accuracy, and compliance with asset management policies.
- Lead regional asset reviews and continuous‑improvement actions focused on fleet readiness and business value.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in asset planning and scheduling, preferably in oil & gas or large‑scale asset‑intensive environments.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and material planning/inventory management processes.
- Experience with drilling services tools, equipment, and operational workflows.
