Regional Director - Middle East & Africa

About the role

Axis Communications is seeking a Regional Director for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. Based in Dubai, you will lead a business unit generating roughly €100 million in revenue with 70 employees, reporting directly to the Vice President of EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth by executing Axis and EMEA strategies, adapting them to regional market dynamics.
• Oversee all functional areas – Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, HR, Finance and Sales Operations.
• Maintain full P&L and budgetary responsibility, ensuring profitable performance.
• Lead and develop a team of senior managers, fostering an attractive and compliant operating environment.
• Represent MEA on the EMEA Leadership Team, contributing to broader organizational success.

Required profile

• University degree in business management or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience leading people and managers in an international sales environment, preferably across multiple functions.
• Strong sales background in technology, with experience in indirect sales models.
• Proven ability to formulate and execute growth strategies.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working in multicultural teams.
• Fluent in English; additional language spoken in the MEA region is a plus.
