Regional Head of Business Banking

About the role

The Regional Head – Business Banking will lead the SME banking franchise across Al Ain, driving client acquisition, relationship management and portfolio growth while ensuring compliance and risk standards. This senior position reports to senior banking leadership and is open to UAE nationals only.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new SME clients and service existing relationships to meet portfolio KPIs and strategic targets.
• Design and implement a structured, replicable relationship‑management strategy for the region.
• Monitor portfolio performance, manage customer risk profiles and ensure adherence to credit and operational risk limits.
• Analyse market trends, sales models and competitive activity to inform ADCB’s sales strategy and capture opportunities.
• Lead and develop the regional team, set individual objectives, manage performance and provide feedback.
• Contribute to organisational change initiatives and projects aligned with best practices.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in corporate/SME banking.
• At least 5 years of experience leading a team with a proven track record in asset and liability management.
• Strong risk awareness and ability to manage credit and operational risk within set boundaries.
