Regional Sales Director – DS

About the role

Panasonic Avionics Corporation, the leading provider of inflight entertainment and connectivity solutions, is seeking a Regional Sales Director for its DS business unit. The role serves as the business unit’s subject‑matter expert and strategic advisor to customer executives, influencing strategy, identifying opportunities and delivering innovative solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business outcomes into ecosystem solutions and architect partnerships that generate new business for Panasonic Avionics.
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize complex sales opportunities, develop business cases and structure deal terms.
• Lead negotiations, secure stakeholder buy‑in, drive deals to closure while managing risk.
• Maintain a network of industry relationships with partners, competitors and thought leaders to support opportunity identification and transaction execution.
• Lead, train and appraise Regional Sales Managers, ensuring effective marketing program implementation and product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related technical field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in account, product or program management and sales within avionics, aerospace SaaS or connectivity solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and building customer relationships.
• Strong business modeling, market development and negotiation expertise.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
