Registered Midwife - Labour and Delivery

About the role

Mediclinic is recruiting one Registered Midwife for its Parkview Hospital in Dubai. The midwife provides and coordinates patient-centred, evidence-based midwifery care while complying with ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality care to antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum women and neonates, working with the multi-professional team according to clinical standards and legislation.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety, following clinical risk policies and procedures.
• Create a supportive environment for patients and families, guided by nursing leadership.
• Keep accurate records of all nursing interventions in line with company standards and legal requirements.
• Supervise, mentor and coach learners and nursing staff to build their competence.
• Use stock and equipment efficiently according to Mediclinic guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years of recent experience as a Registered Midwife in Labour and Delivery.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite).
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of patient safety standards.
