Registered Nurse - ICU

About the role

The Registered Nurse – ICU will deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based nursing care to critically ill patients at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, a JCI‑accredited facility in the Northern Emirates. You will work closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast‑paced intensive care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct, evidence‑based nursing care to ICU patients in line with hospital standards.
• Monitor, interpret and respond to complex clinical data from ventilators, cardiac monitors and infusion pumps.
• Participate in emergency and rapid‑response interventions, escalating care when needed.
• Administer medications, treatments and procedures safely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions and progress in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and offer emotional support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Valid DOH/DHA/MOH nursing license or eligibility.
• Minimum two years of ICU experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
