Registered Nurse – Obstetrics & Gynecology

About the role

The Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Obstetrics & Gynecology to deliver high‑quality inpatient care. You will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate treatment for patients throughout their hospital stay.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to inpatient/ward patients according to individual care plans.
• Assess patients’ health conditions, monitor vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications, treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and nursing records.
• Assist physicians during examinations, procedures and other clinical interventions.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and report any changes promptly.
• Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain infection prevention and control standards at all times.
• Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and deteriorating patient conditions.
• Support patient discharge planning and provide appropriate health education.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Valid Registered Nurse license/registration in the relevant country.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of inpatient/medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient‑care skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and professional ethics.
