Registered Nurse - Oncology

About the role

King's College Hospital London, Dubai is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Oncology team. The nurse provides professional nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting, records patient histories, performs diagnostic tests, administers medications and helps develop patient care plans together with other medical professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients at the hospital.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs on an ongoing basis.
• Keep patients and their relatives regularly informed about their condition in clear, sensitive ways.
• Uphold high standards of care across all departments and follow Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respect each patient's cultural and religious beliefs, privacy, dignity, gender and sexuality.
• Work flexibly to keep staffing levels safe and to support personal development.
• Take part in nursing audits and act as a link person for specialist areas such as infection control.

Required profile

• DHA license and registration as a registered nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent degree (at least two years of study).
• At least 2 years of experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• An oncology and chemotherapy certificate is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
