Registered Nurse – Operating Theatre (Arabic/Tagalog) – Dubai

About the role

Al-Futtaim Health is seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Nurse to join its modern surgical facility in Dubai Festival City. The role involves delivering high‑quality peri‑operative care to patients while supporting surgeons, anesthetists and the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Provide comprehensive peri‑operative nursing care in line with DHA and Al-Futtaim Health standards.
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgeries and ensure accurate documentation.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vitals before, during and after surgery, and promptly escalate concerns.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection‑control protocols.
• Complete and document surgical safety checklists.
• Manage theatre stock, equipment and consumables efficiently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, audits and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
• Current DHA Registered Nurse licence or DHA eligibility letter (mandatory).
• Current BLS certification (mandatory); ACLS certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an operating theatre setting.
• Strong knowledge of peri‑operative nursing practices, infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Required skills
