Registered Nurse – Outpatient OB‑GYN

About the role

The Royal Women Hospital Abu Dhabi is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Outpatient Department (OPD) focusing on obstetrics and gynaecology. You will provide coordinated patient care, education, and emotional support while collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and identify nursing diagnoses.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care, assist in invasive and non‑invasive procedures, and ensure strict aseptic technique.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, discharge, and education of patients and families.
• Identify and promptly report obstetric emergencies and perform basic life support when needed.

Required profile

• Current nursing license issued by the relevant UAE health authority (DoH or DHA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within the past 24 months.
• Ability to maintain professional revalidation and adhere to infection‑control policies.
• Strong clinical knowledge of obstetric and gynaecological nursing care.
