Registered Nurse – PICU

About the role

The Royal Hospital Dubai Investment Park is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The role involves delivering safe, compassionate, and individualized care to critically ill children while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans in partnership with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and promptly escalate any abnormalities.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care management and assist with invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Deliver essential life support, including BLS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation.
• Educate patients, families and the public about health conditions and provide emotional support.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a registered nurse with the relevant health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work across departments when needed.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation.
• IV therapy and medication administration.
• Wound care techniques.
