Regulatory Affairs Scientist (Entry Level)

About the role

Procter & Gamble is hiring a Regulatory Affairs Scientist in its Dubai general office. The role reports to the Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs Middle East & Africa and covers the Middle East and Africa countries. It is a full-time position for someone who wants to drive regulatory compliance and market access for the company's products.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day regulatory affairs activities autonomously, in line with the local manager, and monitor the regulatory environment across the Middle East.
• Prepare and submit registration dossiers and achieve registration for the product portfolio within agreed timelines, and renew registrations by defining accurate timelines.
• Maintain and update dossiers and regulatory files and records, including variation documents and archiving, in line with corporate and health authority requirements.
• Review product artwork, promotional material and tools for conformity with marketing codes and legal requirements.
• Liaise with health authorities, distributors and regulatory authorities to obtain and maintain registrations.
• Handle compliance by ensuring global, regional and local processes, policies, SOPs and working instructions are in place and followed.
• Compile and submit regulatory submissions, respond to regulatory agency questions and other correspondence according to agency guidelines and country-specific requirements.
• Identify regulatory risks, track applications against timelines and communicate project status to stakeholders and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• 0-1 years of experience in pharmaceutical or personal healthcare regulatory work.
• Arabic and English.
• Experience with pharma and/or consumer healthcare products.

Required skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships across departments and work collaboratively.
