Relationship Officer – Acquisition (Emirati Segment)

About the role

The Relationship Officer – Acquisition (Emirati Segment) will join Mashreq’s Retail Banking Group, focusing on onboarding high‑quality Emirati and Islamic clients in the assigned region. The role involves promoting liability products, cross‑selling personal loans, cards, insurance and other bank offerings while ensuring excellent service for Mashreq Gold profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively acquire new‑to‑bank Emirati and Islamic clients to grow the bank’s market share.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to become their primary banking partner.
• Identify and manage business opportunities that meet the unit’s risk‑reward parameters.
• Achieve acquisition targets and drive cross‑selling of personal loans, cards, insurance and other products.
• Coordinate with product and channel partners across Retail Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking and SME FX teams.
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, account review and high‑value transaction monitoring policies.
• Provide timely service delivery and act as a liaison between clients and internal units.

Required skills
