Reservation and Ticketing Agent

About the role

The Reservation and Ticketing Agent delivers accurate, compliant and customer-focused ticketing, reservation and ancillary services for customer airlines operating at Zayed International Airport. The role ensures high service standards, precise financial handling and full compliance with airline, airport and regulatory requirements, supporting passengers during normal and disrupted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Issue manual and system-generated EMDs and other documents for customer airlines operating out of Zayed International Airport
• Handle ticketing for customer airlines, including issuing and re-issuing tickets and ancillaries via the Amadeus reservations desktop
• Arrange land transport for disrupted guests
• Report issued documents daily to the respective finance teams
• Handle daily cash and credit card sales, reconcile by shift with the shift Duty Officer, and make cash deposits to the right accounts
• Respond to queries and chargeback cases with supporting documents to finance and revenue teams
• Prepare sales and revenue reports daily, weekly and/or monthly and report them to the airlines
• Manage stock of EBTs and MCOs, including control, issuance, segregation, reporting and replenishment
• Manage hub petty cash, release cash with approval and documentation, replenish it and maintain the petty cash tracker

Required profile

• Degree-level education, preferably in aviation or airline management, or relevant work experience
• Certificate courses in IATA, ticketing and fare calculations
• At least 2 years of previous aviation industry experience in an operational environment, including training
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Willingness to work in a shift pattern
