Restaurant Manager

About the role

A UAE-based retail group, Alabbar Enterprises & ANOTHER, which owns several F&B concepts such as Social House, Karak House, Angelina, Gia, Markette, Two Bistro, Caya, Parka, Carpo, Ganache Chocolatier, The Good Hood Kitchen, Parka Bakehouse and Klay by Karak, is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager. The manager leads one of the group's homegrown brands, drives revenue growth and profitability, maintains high food quality and service standards, and builds a positive team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including bar, service, hosting and opening/closing procedures, while supervising floor activities.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, preparation methods and service standards to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Keep hygiene, sanitation and safety standards up to date and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints, support promotions and special events, and make sure guests feel welcomed.
• Recruit, train, supervise, coach and discipline staff, and keep adequate staffing levels.
• Control costs through payroll management, inventory control, stock monitoring and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports, manage POS systems, keep documentation and use business software.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef, Marketing and other departments.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of full-service, fine or casual dining restaurant management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the F&B industry, regional best practices and management techniques.
• Relevant restaurant and/or hospitality management education.
• Experience with homegrown brands is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication in English and Arabic, and a proven track record of meeting targets.
