Risk Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to lead risk management across a portfolio of approximately 30 building work packages in Dubai. The role supports both new‑build and refurbishment projects for large iconic buildings and sits at an Executive/Associate Director level.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and update project and programme risk registers for 30+ work packages.
• Facilitate risk workshops with project, commercial and technical teams to identify, assess and quantify cost, time and operational risks.
• Develop mitigation strategies, contingency allowances and provide risk input during pre‑contract and bid activities.
• Collaborate with client decision‑makers, PMCs and consultants, presenting risk status and mitigation progress to senior stakeholders.
• Implement consistent risk processes, standards and templates, and prepare regular risk reports, dashboards and steering‑committee inputs.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in risk or commercial roles on major infrastructure or building projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to operate at senior stakeholder level and influence decision‑making.
• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or related field; professional risk qualification (e.g., IRM, PMI‑RMP) preferred.
