Rotational Instrument & Control Engineer (Remote Support)

About the role

Wood is seeking a Rotational Instrument & Control Engineer to provide on‑site and remote engineering support for its Sharjah operations. The role focuses on day‑to‑day I&C queries, risk mitigation and ensuring safe, reliable and compliant plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily I&C engineering support for site operations, addressing queries, activities and risk issues.
• Collaborate with site teams to identify and progress long‑term engineering solutions.
• Assist in reducing operational risk and enhancing production efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or related field.
• Experience in supporting industrial I&C systems in an energy or manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Instrument and control engineering fundamentals.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards for industrial operations.
