Safety Engineer (UAE Nationals)

About the role
KONE is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the Safety Manager on‑site in the UAE, driving safety performance and culture across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of KONE’s safety management system.
- Participate in safety committees, conduct audits, and monitor leading and lagging safety data.
- Develop and manage safety risk‑management processes, tools and corrective actions.
- Assist in crisis and emergency response planning and work closely with customers, partners and subcontractors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- NEBOSH certification (mandatory) and Trakhees‑approved Safety Engineer status.
- 3‑5 years of safety experience, preferably in the elevator industry.
- Fluent English and strong interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Safety audits and incident investigation.
- Risk management and safety data analysis.
- NEBOSH certification.
