Safety Engineer – UAE Nationals Only

About the role

KONE is seeking a Safety Engineer to join its UAE team, supporting the Safety Manager in enhancing safety management and performance across the organization. The role is on‑site and focuses on implementing and continuously improving KONE’s safety management system.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, maintenance and improvement of the KONE safety management system, covering worker, user and third‑party safety.
• Participate in unit safety committees, conduct safety audits, and monitor leading and lagging safety data.
• Develop and manage safety risk management processes, tools and practices.
• Assist in incident analysis, investigations and the management of corrective and preventive actions.
• Support crisis and emergency response planning and work closely with customers, partners and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH certification (mandatory) and Trakhees‑approved Safety Engineer status.
• 3–5 years of safety experience, preferably in the elevator industry.
• Fluency in English and strong interpersonal skills.
