About the role
Asad Farooq Building Contracting LLC (AFBC) is hiring a Safety Officer to support its Safety Manager on construction sites in Dubai, Sharjah and surrounding areas. The role covers day-to-day site safety checks, toolbox talks and reporting of incidents and near misses. Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out daily site inspections and enforce PPE and safe work practices
- Run toolbox talks and induction sessions
- Check permits to work and keep HSE records up to date
- Report incidents and near misses promptly
Required profile
- 3+ years on UAE construction sites
- NEBOSH IGC or OSHA qualification
- Valid UAE driving licence, if needed
