Sales Accountant

About the role
The Sales Accountant is responsible for high‑volume customer billing within the sales division, ensuring accurate issuance of hydrocarbon invoices and bills of service in line with ADNOC Distribution policies.
Key responsibilities
- Process and validate sales transactions in SAP, generate monthly invoices for commercial and government customers, and resolve invoice issues such as pricing errors.
- Maintain accounts receivable, safeguard revenue streams, and support financial closing activities by preparing billing reports and reconciling discrepancies.
- Develop and implement internal controls, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with finance, IT, and sales teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of accounting experience in a similar environment, with strong attention to detail and knowledge of regional regulations.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Experience with Ariba system.
