Sales Assistant - Maje Palm Jumeirah Mall

About the role

The Sales Assistant plays a key role in driving sales and improving the customer experience inside the store. The person creates a welcoming atmosphere, gives customers efficient and knowledgeable service and keeps the store's presentation and cleanliness standards. The role is based at Maje in Palm Jumeirah Mall, Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Greet every customer warmly on entry and give current, relevant product information.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, keep the cash wrap clean and record customer information in the database.
• Offer quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, try to add on to the sale and thank customers sincerely as they leave.
• Maintain a clean, organised store and follow visual presentation standards set by store management.
• Follow the dress code to make a good first impression.

Required profile

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift some heavy items and stand for at least 8 hours.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling.
• Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
