About the role

The Sales Assistant will deliver a positive customer experience and drive sales at Toys R Us in Dalma Mall, Abu Dhabi. You will support store operations, maintain visual standards, and ensure smooth transactions at the cash wrap.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a friendly, non‑business‑like welcome and provide product information to aid purchase decisions.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and visual presentation, ensuring standards are met.
  • Handle cash‑wrap transactions accurately, capture customer data, and promote gift cards.
  • Assist in fitting rooms, follow up with customers, and suggest additional products.
  • Perform housekeeping duties assigned by store management.

Required profile

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1‑2 years of retail sales experience in a customer‑focused environment.
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to perform heavy lifting.
  • Capability to stand for at least 8 hours per shift.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD.
  • Experience using Sketchup.
  • Knowledge of Illustrator.
  • Ability to work with Photoshop.
