Sales & Business Development Manager – GCC & North Africa (Rail/AFC/Ticketing)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for an experienced International Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth of Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and ticketing solutions across the GCC and North Africa. Based in Dubai, the role requires frequent travel throughout the region to engage with transport authorities, operators and technology partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in AFC, Account‑Based Ticketing, digital payments and revenue collection for metro, bus, tram, parking and tolling projects.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, lead complex tender processes and negotiate contracts to achieve revenue targets.
• Maintain strategic relationships with public transport authorities, system integrators and technology providers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging Mobility‑as‑a‑Service opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical and commercial environments within rail, public transport or mobility sectors.
• Proven track record in international sales, business development and strategic account management.
• Deep understanding of the GCC transport ecosystem and its key stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
