Sales Director / Manager – Africa

About the role

The Sales Director / Manager – Africa will drive revenue growth, market expansion and strategic client acquisition across the region. You will own the full sales lifecycle, from pipeline development to executive‑level stakeholder engagement, working closely with delivery, product, marketing and partner teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver regional sales targets, pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy.
• Drive new logo acquisition and expand strategic accounts in banking, wealth management and capital markets.
• Build and maintain C‑suite relationships and lead complex multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Lead the full sales lifecycle from qualification to pricing, contracting and closure.
• Develop and manage a regional partner ecosystem, executing co‑sell and joint go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Track market trends and competitive dynamics, feeding insights into product and pricing strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of proven sales experience in banking, wealth management or fintech, with a strong record in the Middle East.
• Deep knowledge of financial services regulations, technology trends and client challenges.
• Strong consultative selling ability to senior executives and experience managing large, complex deals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; MBA or relevant certifications a plus.
• Fluency in English; French and Arabic are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite for presentations and reporting.
• Familiarity with banking and wealth‑management software solutions.
