Sales Engineer – Electrical Distribution Solutions

About the role

The Sales Engineer will support the Area Sales Manager in Dubai, driving sales of Lucy Electric’s medium‑voltage switchgear and digital solutions across the assigned territory. You will combine technical expertise with commercial activities to develop new opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Execute sales strategies, develop annual plans and generate a qualified pipeline of medium‑voltage projects.
• Conduct 7‑8 customer visits per week, deliver product presentations, and pursue cold‑calling to acquire new accounts.
• Coordinate tendering, quotation preparation and follow‑up with internal teams (Tendering, Engineering, Operations) to ensure timely submissions.
• Maintain CRM data, produce regular sales and market intelligence reports, and hand over purchase orders to Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience selling medium‑voltage electrical distribution equipment, preferably with utilities, EPC contractors or consultants.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Arabic preferred.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

Required skills

• Knowledge of medium‑voltage distribution equipment and solutions (switchgear, RMUs, overhead line gear).
• Tender and quotation management.
• CRM and pipeline management (e.g., Salesforce or similar).
• Understanding of Incoterms and documentary credit.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
