Sales Engineer – Mechanical / Valves

About the role

The client seeks an experienced Sales Engineer with strong technical and commercial expertise in industrial valves and oilfield equipment to support their oil and gas business in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and register enquiries and RFQs from ADNOC, EPC contractors and end users.
• Coordinate with international manufacturers to obtain technical and commercial offers within required timelines.
• Prepare and submit quotations, technical clarifications, compliance statements and supporting documentation.
• Track orders from award through delivery, coordinating shipments, documentation and delivery schedules.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and suppliers, develop relationships and identify new sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in oil and gas equipment, valves or industrial trading in the UAE.
• Proven experience dealing with ADNOC, EPC contractors and oil‑gas end users.
• Currently based in the UAE with a valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of industrial valves (ball, gate, globe, butterfly, check, choke, pig, manual and actuated).
• Familiarity with pipeline valves, valve fittings and accessories.
• Understanding of pumps, piping, fittings, flanges and related mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of oilfield equipment and instrumentation used in oil and gas applications.
