Sales Engineer – Solar Power Systems

About the role

The Solar Sales Engineer will create and develop sales opportunities for solar and hybrid power solutions across the UAE. Leveraging a mechanical or electrical engineering background, you will translate customer requirements into technically sound proposals and guide them through the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for solar and hybrid power systems in the UAE market.
• Assess customer needs, conduct site visits, and design appropriate solar integration solutions.
• Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through proposal, negotiation and contract closure.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, opportunities and sales activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing insights to the sales management team.

Required profile

• At least five years of sales experience in the UAE solar systems integration industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Valid UAE driving licence and working proficiency in English.
