Sales Executive

About the role

As a Sales Executive at Careem, you will drive day‑to‑day operations, strategic growth, and partner satisfaction. You will be the primary point of contact for merchants, ensuring operational excellence and maximizing revenue across delivery and scaling business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Present Careem’s marketplace and delivery solutions to prospective merchants.
• Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, and networking.
• Negotiate commercial terms, commissions, promotions, and partnership agreements.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and merchant acquisition targets.
• Onboard new merchants and coordinate with internal teams for successful activation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and pipeline updates.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Account Management teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition, FMCG, retail, e‑commerce, or food delivery.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable with field sales and meeting businesses in person.
• Target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Good knowledge of the UAE retail/merchant market (advantage).
• English required; Arabic an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving license.
