Sales Executive

About the role

Gourmex is looking for a motivated, results-oriented Sales Executive to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, managing client accounts, achieving sales targets and maintaining strong business relationships. Candidates with relevant FMCG or meat and poultry sales experience and immediate availability are preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the customer base and meet assigned sales targets.
• Prepare sales quotations, negotiate pricing and turn leads into confirmed orders.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments so orders are processed accurately and products are delivered on time.
• Follow up on customer payments and support timely account settlement.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, customer records and order documentation.
• Monitor customer needs and look for ways to improve sales performance.
• Provide professional customer service throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field (preferred).
• 2-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the meat and poultry or FMCG industry.
• Knowledge of FMCG sales, business development, customer acquisition and account management.
• Ability to prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, process orders and convert leads into sales.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to manage several client accounts while meeting targets; immediate joiners preferred.
