Sales Manager – GCC Corporate & Government

About the role

The Sales Manager for GCC Corporate & Government will lead revenue generation for Anantara Downtown Dubai, focusing on corporate, government and travel‑agent segments across the Gulf Cooperation Council region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will translate brand strategy into actionable sales plans and build lasting relationships with key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and articulate the Anantara brand strategy and positioning in the marketplace.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Anantara products, competitor offerings and industry trends.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within GCC and government segments.
• Identify and cultivate new client contacts, estimating potential revenue and presenting tailored solutions.
• Manage existing relationships with government entities, travel agents, corporate accounts, GSO’s and DMCs.
• Monitor account performance against potential, propose improvements and report results to department leadership.
• Ensure accurate management reporting, cost control and adherence to internal approval procedures.
• Participate in client familiarisation trips and site inspections to showcase the property.

Required profile

• Strong grasp of business strategy and ability to communicate it effectively.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of hospitality products, rates, competitor activity and industry trends.
• Strategic mindset with experience prioritising accounts and driving sales initiatives.
• Proven track record of managing government and corporate accounts in the GCC.
• Commitment to continuous professional development, including financial literacy and negotiation skills.
• Ability to produce accurate status reports and implement cost‑control measures.
