Sales Manager

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow its sales portfolio across all revenue streams, ensuring comprehensive client servicing and achievement of revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, acquire and manage business opportunities across relevant market segments in line with the hotel’s commercial strategy.
• Implement sales objectives, strategies and action plans to exceed revenue targets, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and account development.
• Quote and negotiate rates for transient, long‑stay, group and other business within approved parameters.
• Maximise revenue through effective selling, upselling and cross‑selling while adhering to established selling strategies.

Required profile

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel or Business Management.
• Minimum 5 years of sales and banqueting experience in a 5‑star hotel environment, preferably with GCC exposure.
• Proven record of closing sales and exceeding targets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong computer proficiency.
