Sales Manager – Lead a Travel Sales Team

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the sales team at Guarantee Travel Group, driving revenue growth through the development and execution of sales strategies, managing key client relationships and overseeing the sales pipeline, forecasting and business development activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Lead, motivate and manage the sales team, setting performance expectations and monitoring results.
• Maintain and review the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are qualified and progressed.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and report regularly to the Director of Sales.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking and partnerships.
• Manage key accounts, driving retention, cross‑selling and upselling.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts and service agreements within delegated authority.
• Collaborate with Operations, Reservations, MICE, Finance, Marketing and other departments to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Tourism, Hospitality or related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in travel, tourism or corporate travel.
• Proven experience managing a sales team and achieving targets.
• Strong track record in business development and key‑account management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse data, make commercial decisions and work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and personal car.
