Sales Merchandiser

About the role

The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring product availability, visibility and compliance across pharmacies and other retail outlets. Working closely with sales, supply‑chain and outlet teams, the role drives disciplined field execution and provides market insights to support sales growth and brand credibility.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistent, compliant product placement in assigned pharmacies and retail channels in line with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Ensure accurate shelf pricing, labelling and promotional material compliance.
• Monitor stock levels on shelves and in back‑stores, coordinating with sales and delivery teams for timely replenishment.
• Take ownership of stock accuracy, handling, and escalation of supply risks or shortages.
• Apply FIFO principles, identify near‑expiry items and coordinate corrective actions.
• Execute daily outlet visits according to a route plan, prioritising high‑impact locations.
• Collect accurate data on stock, execution standards and competitor activity using approved tools.
• Translate field observations into actionable insights and submit daily reports highlighting risks and opportunities.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a fast‑paced field environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with pharmacy staff, sales and supply‑chain teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps and provide actionable recommendations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FIFO inventory management principles.
• Experience with stock management, shelf auditing and expiry control.
• Familiarity with data collection and reporting tools used in retail merchandising.
