SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to join a major SAP transformation programme in the UAE. The role combines functional finance expertise with hands‑on configuration, testing and implementation governance, working closely with finance leaders, IT teams and the implementation partner.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full SAP Finance implementation lifecycle, from discovery and process assessment through configuration, testing, deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Lead fit‑to‑standard workshops, clarify requirements and design solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
• Configure and validate SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Review and challenge solution designs and deliverables produced by the implementation partner.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury and IT owners to translate operational requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Assist with data migration, integration testing, UAT, cut‑over and go‑live activities, and resolve defects through root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of SAP Finance experience, preferably with at least one end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Relevant SAP certifications (S/4HANA Cloud, Financial Accounting, SAP BTP or SAP Architecture) are advantageous.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and UAE VAT regulations.
• Proven ability to work across workshops, configuration, testing, defect management, migration, cut‑over and hyper‑care phases.
