School Counselor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

ADNOC Schools is seeking a dedicated School Counselor to support the personal, social, and academic development of students in its Abu Dhabi campuses. The role involves close collaboration with parents, teachers, and the wider school community to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor individual student progress and provide guidance.
• Communicate with parents regarding student behavior and development.
• Implement anti‑bullying initiatives and support victims.
• Teach job‑search skills, including resume writing and interview techniques.
• Address social, behavioral, and personal issues through preventive counseling.
• Deliver conflict‑resolution classes and identify cases of domestic abuse.
• Organise and lead group counseling sessions for academic and behavioral interventions.
• Coordinate career‑exploration information and assist students in selecting future pathways.

Required profile

• At least 24 months of relevant counseling experience.
• Strong appreciation of regional cultural values and the school’s core ethos.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to develop and lead both large‑group and small‑group counseling programs.
