Security Officer

About the role

Hyde Hotels is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to protect its premises in Dubai. The role involves monitoring access, conducting patrols and ensuring the safety of guests, staff and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the hotel, issuing visitor and contractor passes.
• Conduct regular security patrols of internal and external areas, including fire and intruder alarm monitoring.
• Manage keys, perform locking and unlocking duties, and oversee traffic control and parking enforcement.
• Maintain logbooks, records and documentation in line with assignment instructions.
• Test security equipment, report faults and ensure optimal functionality of CCTV, alarms and access points.
• Enforce health and safety procedures, record hazards and keep walkways and emergency routes clear.
• Investigate fire alarm activations, respond to emergencies and liaise with emergency services.
• Provide guidance to staff, visitors and contractors while maintaining security awareness across the organisation.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
