Security Team Leader

About the role

Hyatt Place Dubai, Baniyas Square is seeking a professional Security Team Leader to oversee daily security operations, protect guests, colleagues and hotel assets, and support the Security Manager in maintaining a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Security Team.
• Conduct regular patrols, monitor CCTV, access points and security systems.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and security concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
• Enforce hotel security procedures, policies and emergency protocols.
• Support investigations and liaise with local authorities when required.
• Train, coach and guide Security Officers to maintain high performance standards.
• Coordinate emergency response, fire safety, evacuation and loss‑prevention procedures.
• Work closely with all hotel departments to promote a safe and secure environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a security supervisory or team‑leader role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Relevant security training or certification.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, emergency response and incident reporting.
• Excellent observation, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• UAE security experience or relevant licensing is preferred.
