Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Membership

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead our Accounts Receivable and Membership accounting functions in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the Financial Controller, ensures accurate financial records, and drives process improvements across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and supervise Accounts Receivable and Membership team members.
• Monitor customer ageing reports and follow up on overdue balances.
• Reconcile SAP ledger with customer accounts and maintain accurate master data.
• Prepare and review sales ledger charges, allocations, and control account reconciliations.
• Process monthly Accounts Receivable journal entries and support month‑end closing.
• Validate commission claims, petty cash reimbursements, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with SAP consultants for system enhancements and with auditors as required.
• Identify and implement operational improvements and ensure staffing levels meet workload demands.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts receivable, sales ledger, and general ledger functions.
• Familiarity with SAP financial modules and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to train and mentor junior staff and work closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
