Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

About the role

Tajvand Group of Companies is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Manager in Ajman to oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting and financial performance. The role strengthens internal controls, ensures regulatory compliance and provides strategic financial insight to support business growth. Candidates with experience in transport, logistics, trading or contracting are highly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and overall financial management
• Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts and business plans
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, profitability and financial performance
• Manage financial planning, expenditure monitoring and cost-control initiatives
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and applicable financial regulations
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger
• Lead month-end and year-end closing and coordinate with external auditors, banks and financial institutions
• Establish and improve internal controls, accounting procedures and financial policies
• Supervise and develop the finance and accounts team
• Provide financial analysis, management reports and recommendations to senior leadership

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• ACCA, CMA, CPA or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Minimum 4-5 years of accounting and finance experience, including UAE experience
• Previous Finance Manager or senior finance experience preferred
• Experience in transport, logistics, trading or contracting is highly preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, financial reporting and accounting procedures
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and financial compliance
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, profitability analysis and cost control
• Analytical, supervisory, organisational and decision-making skills
