Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in DIFC, Dubai. The role involves managing the company’s accounting operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial reporting to support management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform bank, intercompany and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and support tax compliance activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain the general ledger.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services, insurance or a regulated environment.
• Experience with accounting and ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC accounting standards, VAT and corporate tax requirements.
