Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will join Sandstorm Motor Vehicles Manufacturing in Dubai, overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations for a leading automotive manufacturer. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate financial records, supports budgeting and forecasting, and guarantees compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities, preparing financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management for manufacturing projects and commercial contracts.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS, and UAE financial regulations.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management for decision‑making.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and leadership teams to align financial data with business activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA or CMA are an advantage.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, automotive or industrial sectors, preferably with cost accounting and project‑based finance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dubai and manage multiple priorities.
