Senior Analyst - Financial Planning and Management Reporting

About the role

The Senior Analyst will develop and implement financial planning and controlling strategies across the group, ensuring robust MIS reporting and effective cost control. The role supports the execution of key deliverables within the Planning & Controlling function and drives improvements in financial processes and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly management reports for finance planning and control.
• Support implementation of financial planning and internal control systems at new sites.
• Design and automate reporting procedures for the Holding Group and external agencies.
• Conduct inter‑plant cost, efficiency and KPI analyses.
• Review cost centres, assist owners with expense and budget details, and maintain version control of pricing calculations.
• Produce weekly and monthly management presentations, including the Steel Performance Report.
• Develop annual business plans, five‑year forecasts and financial models, and monitor adherence.
• Assist in consolidation, group reporting and preparation of periodic finance and costing reports.
• Contribute to the Value+ transformation project to achieve EBITDA enhancements.
• Calculate estimated margins for sales pricing and support procurement‑linked costing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or commerce and Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 5‑7 years of experience in financial planning and controlling, preferably in the UAE/Middle East steel or manufacturing sector.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modelling.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint for management reporting and presentations.
• Working knowledge of BI tools and AI applications to automate reporting.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
